A recalled dialogue from
some time ago:
Martino: I will make 100 chairs
åbäke: What, the same one 100 times?
M: No, they will be different. They'll be actual size 3D sketching, somehow, you know, instead of drawing on a piece of paper.
å: Sounds great. Do it in 100 days then.

A history of the artist-run gallery Bart Wells Institute which ran in London from 2001-2003. Edited by Luke Gottelier and Francis Upritchard, the book is illustrated throughout with artwork by artists such as Goshka Macuga, Brian Griffiths, Simon Bill, David Thorpe, Matt Bryans, Daria Martin and Phillip Allen and with writing by Dan Fox, Martin Herbert, Harry Pye, Mark Aerial Waller, Sally O'Reilly, åbäke and Sam Basu.
The first 50 copies of the Bart Wells Institute book are sets of uncollated periodicals enclosed with a Bart Wells Institute original letterhead signed and numbered by Luke Gottelier and Francis Upritchard
What is exciting is that it is like a ladybird book but the size of a National Geographic magazine. It is stuffed with 96 pages of incredibly colourful fluorescent pictures of naked men and ladies sculptures by Francis Upritchard. As sculptures have a tendency to show a unique view in publications, they decided to go full frontal and backside for most, side view for some.
This HBG LHO(oq) Repair Manual guide is a maintenance troubleshooting and instruction owner manual reference used for maintaining, disassembly and servicing the HBG LHO(oq) in albanian.
In closer inspection, or if you read albanian, it turns out to be a camouflaged short novel written in a totalitarian regime and smuggled out for you.
This picture book by artist Aurélien Froment will exist in the future. We have chosen to sell it before it physically takes shape. We understand that it is a leap of faith and ask you to be patient.
Benefit of a good subscription price and have your name in the book in a similar way that patrons of theatres sometimes get a little plaque on the seats. It will be an inventory of recent works including L'Archipel, Debuilding, Froebel Suite, La Pièce du Souffleur, Théâtre de poche and many more.
It will be photographed by Åbäke and Aurélien Mole, lit by Vanessa Colombel and presented by Youri Dirkx.

This publication follows up the 100 chairs in 100 days book by Martino Gamper. He's been busy making more chairs, tables to go with, food to eat and additional pieces for the feet, buttocks and eyes. Martino also cut up Ponti—sorry Gio!—resulting in second-hand furnitures which are new to all of us (including to Gio).
The Victoria & Alferd museum is a not-for-profit institution founded by Prune Victoria and Inga-lill Alferd. The collection is based on personal curiosity, an interest for mistakes and tautological anomailes. The Victoria & Alferd Museum does not own any of the items but wish to share the availability of the associated stories. We do not see tie, space, ownership or fiction as an obstacle to the collection.
This issue focuses on the relationship between Huckleberry Finn, Gavroche and the eschatological issues of dinosaur discovery and forced (zombie) self sufficiency.
We talk and eat and drink. The Total Trattoria Handbook functions like a little manual of making furniture, things and food. Aprons and water carafe, fish and lamps, fruits and temporary kitchen. It is a provisional account of our touring and occasional restaurant
This publication about Martino is divided in four chapters: the obsession with corners, the fascination for food, fetish for re-making and compulsion for working with others.
